This album starts off with an excellent tune The Song Remains The Same and
shows that Led Zeppelin's style changes with every album. This is a good follow
up to their last album and it displays a kind of rock that Zep would use for
the rest of their career.
Once again Jimmy Page shows how versatile he is on the guitar especially with Over
The Hills and Far Away which gives us some acoustic and electric guitar
work.
D'yer Mak'ergives us a reggae style sound. Hence the name (pronounced
Jer Maker).
There is also some really good organ on this album brought to us by the great
musician John Paul Jones. In this album Jones steps out of the "just a bassist"
role to a more musician role.
Overall I give this album an A, but not a real strong one. It is a good
Zep album but it is not in my top five Zep discs.
